Dawid Kowalski Tourette is one of the pioneers of what I pretentiously refer to as 'post-harsh noise'. By that I mean music that is strongly rooted in harsh noise but involves more structure. Along with Oscillating Innards, Pedestrian Deposit, Jason Crumer and others, Tourette helped to push the envelope of the genre and made it evolve in new directions where the artists are not only free to experiment with distorted textures but are also free from genre-specific constraints. Eroboros is an essential release.
